FateTerrain

Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-17

1. Overview

FateTerrain sells Credits, a prepaid balance used to unlock AI-generated deep readings (e.g. Six-Dimension Deep Reading, Compatibility Reading, Annual Forecast, Shared Destiny, Life Sandbox, WhatIf Parallel Lives). This policy explains when and how a Credits purchase can be refunded.

Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, who handles billing, tax, and refund execution on our behalf.

2. Refund eligibility

A purchase is eligible for a full refund when both of the following are true:

  1. The request is made within 3 days of the purchase date; and
  2. None of the Credits from that purchase have been used (i.e. no reading or feature has been unlocked with them).

Refunds are returned to your original payment method. The payment platform may withhold part of the transaction fee; that portion is non-refundable, and the exact amount is determined by what the payment channel actually deducts.

Once any Credit from a purchase has been spent, that purchase is no longer refundable, because the AI content has been delivered and the underlying cost incurred. Requests made more than 3 days after purchase cannot be accepted.

Example. You buy 2,800 Credits. If you have used none of them, you may request a full refund within 3 days (the payment platform's transaction fee may be withheld). If you have spent even 800 to unlock one reading, the purchase is no longer refundable.

3. Non-refundable cases

  • Any purchase where Credits have already been used, even partially.
  • Requests made more than 3 days after purchase.
  • Free Credits, promotional Credits, or Credits granted via an experience pass.
  • Transaction fees already withheld by the payment platform (outside the refundable scope).

4. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with:

  • The email address linked to your account;
  • The order / transaction ID; and
  • A brief reason (optional, but it helps us improve).

We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned via Dodo Payments to your original payment method. Arrival time depends on your payment provider (typically 5–10 business days; channels such as WeChat Pay may be faster).

5. Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you were charged in error or charged twice, contact [email protected]. Verified billing errors are refunded in full and are not subject to the 3-day window.
